Os campeões do mundo juniores e Youth de ginástica acrobática ficaram decididos na Vitrifrigo Arena. Onze delegações subiram ao pódio e houve finais resolvidas por centésimas.

Pesaro, Itália – A equipa neutra World Gymnastics 2 terminou no topo do quadro de medalhas do 2.º Campeonato do Mundo de Ginástica Acrobática de Juniores e da 14.ª Competição Mundial Youth. As provas decorreram entre 17 e 20 de setembro e a WG2 somou quatro ouros, uma prata e dois bronzes. Israel ficou em segundo com três títulos e a Alemanha em terceiro com quatro medalhas. A competição reuniu 613 ginastas de 36 delegações, e as dez finais combinadas disputaram-se no domingo.

Nos juniores, a WG2 venceu os dois grupos. O grupo feminino de Sofia Ivanova, Viktoriia Masliukova e Aleksandra Medvedchikova fez 28,400, apenas uma décima à frente da Bélgica (28,300) e três centésimas à frente da Alemanha (28,250). No grupo masculino, Aleksandr Bakutin, Mikhail Samokhodkin, Gleb Tiutiunov e Ivan Zakharov somaram 28,600. Israel foi segundo (28,390) e a WG1 terceira (28,000).

Israel ganhou o par masculino júnior com Gal Harel e Gilad Shiner (28,420), à frente de Portugal e da WG2. No par feminino, a Alemanha bateu a Bulgária (27,660) por margem curta. A Itália, anfitriã, ficou com o bronze graças a Sofia D’Errico e Camilla Poerio (27,620). O par misto foi para Portugal, com Mariana Pinheiro e Jorge Silva. Os 28,900 pontos da dupla foram a nota mais alta de todo o campeonato e deixaram para trás o Cazaquistão (28,600) e Israel (28,340).

A Alemanha subiu ao pódio em quatro finais diferentes. O título veio no par feminino júnior, com Nona Kara e Johanna Schoene (27,830). Somaram ainda três medalhas. A prata foi de Nils Hoffmann e Sofia Kirizoglou no par misto Youth (27,400). Um dos bronzes foi para Jonny e Tony Herrmann no par masculino Youth (27,000). O outro foi para o grupo feminino júnior de Finia Falch, Kay Klotz e Leni Tschutschupalow, que tinha terminado a qualificação em primeiro lugar e ficou a cinco centésimas do ouro.

Na competição Youth, Israel venceu duas provas femininas. Lika Bazylianski e Abigail Moncaz ganharam o par feminino (28,030), à frente da Ucrânia e do Cazaquistão. Tzuf Asor, Michelle Obolencev e Shachar Vardi conquistaram o grupo feminino (27,780), com o Azerbaijão em segundo e a WG2 em terceiro.

A final mais apertada foi a do par masculino Youth. Konstantin Strizhov e Artem Sutorikhin (WG2) venceram com 28,000, apenas duas centésimas acima dos britânicos Diyan Patel e Harry Ponsonby (27,980). A Grã-Bretanha teve a sua compensação no grupo masculino, com o ouro de Morris Hyde, Joseph Scotney, Henry Sharman e Faris Siddiqui (28,170). O Azerbaijão ficou com o bronze depois de um desempate com Israel, ambos com 27,200. No par misto Youth, Karina Kyrchanova e Ivan Musikhin (WG2) venceram com 27,750, à frente da Alemanha e da Bulgária.

Pesaro recebe agora o Campeonato do Mundo sénior de ginástica acrobática.

The junior and youth acrobatic gymnastics world titles were settled at the Vitrifrigo Arena. Eleven delegations reached the podium, and some finals were decided by hundredths.

Pesaro, Italy – The neutral World Gymnastics 2 team finished top of the medal table at the 2nd Acrobatic Gymnastics Junior World Championships and 14th World Youth Competition, held from 17 to 20 September. It won four golds, one silver and two bronzes. Israel placed second with three titles and Germany third with four medals. The event brought together 613 gymnasts from 36 delegations, and all ten combined finals took place on Sunday.

In the junior category, WG2 won both group events. The women’s group of Sofia Ivanova, Viktoriia Masliukova and Aleksandra Medvedchikova scored 28.400, just a tenth ahead of Belgium (28.300) and three hundredths ahead of Germany (28.250). Hosts Italy won bronze through Sofia D’Errico and Camilla Poerio (27.620). The mixed pair title went to Portugal’s Mariana Pinheiro and Jorge Silva. Their 28.900 was the highest score of the championships and put them ahead of Kazakhstan (28.600) and Israel (28.340).

Germany reached the podium in four different finals. Its title came in the junior women’s pair through Nona Kara and Johanna Schoene (27.830), and it added three more medals. Nils Hoffmann and Sofia Kirizoglou took silver in the youth mixed pair (27.400). Jonny and Tony Herrmann won bronze in the youth men’s pair (27.000). The junior women’s group of Finia Falch, Kay Klotz and Leni Tschutschupalow also won bronze after topping qualification, finishing just five hundredths short of gold.
