De Atenas, Veria e Tessalônica, a delegação grega reúne campeões nacionais, medalhistas mundiais e jovens talentos que continuam construindo a história da Ginástica Acrobática no país
A Ginástica Acrobática grega chegará à AcroPesaro 2026 trazendo diferentes gerações, experiências e histórias. De Atenas, Veria e Tessalônica, cinco formações representarão o país nos Campeonatos Mundiais Youth & Junior: uma Dupla Mista Youth, um Grupo Feminino Youth, uma Dupla Mista Junior, uma Dupla Masculina Junior e um Grupo Feminino Junior.
Alguns desses atletas já subiram ao pódio de um Campeonato Mundial. Outros estão construindo agora suas primeiras grandes experiências internacionais. Entre eles, há parcerias consolidadas durante anos, atletas que recomeçaram com novas formações e jovens que aprenderam a equilibrar treinos, estudos e outros interesses pessoais.
Juntos, eles mostram um movimento que cresce por meio do trabalho desenvolvido em diferentes cidades e clubes, apoiado por treinadores, famílias e por atletas que continuam abrindo caminhos para a nova geração.
Dupla Mista Youth — Atenas
Vasilis Tsetris & Iliana Karagiorgou
Há três anos e meio, Vasilis Tsetris e Iliana Karagiorgou começaram a construir uma parceria que agora os levará a um Campeonato Mundial.
Vasilis compete como base e Iliana como top. Representando Atenas, os dois são treinados por Vasia Tsitsopoulou e Myrsini Dimou, que acompanham o desenvolvimento da dupla e sua passagem pelas diferentes etapas da Ginástica Acrobática.
Em 2025, Vasilis e Iliana participaram do Campeonato Europeu de Luxemburgo, terminando na 7ª posição na categoria Pre-Youth. Mais recentemente, conquistaram o título de campeões nacionais gregos na categoria Youth.
Pesaro representa, portanto, a continuidade de um caminho construído com tempo, confiança e crescimento conjunto. Depois da experiência europeia e do título nacional, a jovem dupla se prepara para transformar tudo o que aprendeu em um novo desafio internacional.
From Athens, Veria and Thessaloniki, the Greek delegation brings together national champions, World medallists and young talents who continue to shape the country’s Acrobatic Gymnastics story
Greek Acrobatic Gymnastics will arrive at AcroPesaro 2026 with different generations, experiences and stories. From Athens, Veria and Thessaloniki, five partnerships will represent the country at the Youth & Junior World Championships: a Youth Mixed Pair, a Youth Women’s Group, a Junior Mixed Pair, a Junior Men’s Pair and a Junior Women’s Group.
Some of these athletes have already stood on the podium at a World Championships. Others are now building their first major international experiences. Among them are partnerships developed over several years, athletes who have started again with new formations and young people who have learned to balance training with their studies and personal interests.
Together, they represent a movement that is growing through the work carried out in different cities and clubs, supported by coaches, families and athletes who continue to open the way for the next generation.
Youth Mixed Pair — Athens
Vasilis Tsetris & Iliana Karagiorgou
Three and a half years ago, Vasilis Tsetris and Iliana Karagiorgou began building a partnership that will now take them to a World Championships.
Vasilis competes as the base, while Iliana is the top. Representing Athens, they are coached by Vasia Tsitsopoulou and Myrsini Dimou, who have supported the pair’s development through the different stages of their Acrobatic Gymnastics journey.
In 2025, Vasilis and Iliana competed at the European Championships in Luxembourg, finishing seventh in the Pre-Youth category. More recently, they became Greek national champions in the Youth category.
Pesaro therefore represents the continuation of a journey built through time, trust and shared growth. After gaining European experience and winning the national title, the young pair are preparing to turn everything they have learned into a new international challenge.

Grupo Feminino Youth — Veria
Iordanopoulou Artemis, Tsanaka Eleni & Konstantina Christoforidou
De Veria chegará o Grupo Feminino Youth formado por Iordanopoulou Artemis, Tsanaka Eleni e Konstantina Christoforidou.
Artemis é a base, Eleni ocupa a posição de middle e Konstantina compete como top. As três já viveram experiências internacionais nas competições europeias por faixa etária, mas o caminho até esta formação não foi linear: elas passaram por mudanças de parcerias antes de voltarem a competir juntas.
O reencontro trouxe um resultado importante. Em 2026, Artemis, Eleni e Konstantina conquistaram o título de campeãs nacionais da Grécia.
Fora do ginásio, cada uma carrega também uma história própria. Artemis estuda flauta, conciliando a música com a Ginástica Acrobática. Eleni pratica danças tradicionais gregas, mantendo uma ligação especial com a cultura de seu país. Konstantina começou a competir aos sete anos e cresceu dentro do esporte até chegar a este novo desafio mundial.
São interesses e trajetórias diferentes que se encontram quando as três sobem juntas ao praticável. Depois das mudanças, da experiência internacional e do título nacional, o grupo chega a Pesaro unido novamente.
Dupla Mista Junior — Tessalônica
Thanasis Tsolakidis & Dioni Katikaridou
Entre as histórias gregas que chegarão a Pesaro, a de Thanasis Tsolakidis e Dioni Katikaridou já ocupa um lugar importante no cenário internacional.
Thanasis compete como base e Dioni como top. Juntos, conquistaram a medalha de prata no Campeonato Mundial de 2024, um resultado que ajudou a abrir caminho e dar visibilidade à Ginástica Acrobática grega.
Em 2025, terminaram na 5ª posição no Campeonato Europeu Junior. Mais recentemente, voltaram ao pódio internacional com outra medalha de prata, na MIAC Acro Cup.
Os resultados também refletem uma longa trajetória nas competições nacionais. Thanasis é oito vezes campeão grego, enquanto Dioni soma sete títulos nacionais. Ela chegará a Pesaro depois de já ter participado de três Campeonatos Europeus e um Campeonato Mundial.
Mas existe também uma vida para além das medalhas. O irmão de Thanasis integra a seleção grega de Ginástica Artística, fazendo do esporte uma presença importante em sua família. Fora dos treinamentos, ele se interessa por apicultura e por pilotar drones FPV.
Em Pesaro, Thanasis e Dioni não chegarão apenas como dois atletas em busca de um resultado. Chegarão como uma dupla que já conheceu o pódio mundial e que continua avançando, competição após competição, sem deixar de construir novos objetivos.
Dupla Masculina Junior — Tessalônica
Nikolaos Mastoras & Alexandros Skopianos
A quinta formação grega na AcroPesaro 2026 será a Dupla Masculina Junior formada por Nikolaos Mastoras e Alexandros Skopianos.
Os dois atletas não participaram da entrevista que apresentou as histórias das demais formações gregas, mas estarão em Pesaro representando seu país na competição Junior.
Sua presença completa uma delegação que participará de diferentes categorias e mostra a amplitude do trabalho realizado pela Ginástica Acrobática grega, com formações Youth e Junior provenientes de três cidades.
Em Pesaro, Nikolaos e Alexandros também escreverão sua parte nesta jornada.
Grupo Feminino Junior — Tessalônica
Georgia Papadopoulou, Athina Stamatiadou & Rafailia Stefanidou
Também de Tessalônica chegará o Grupo Feminino Junior formado por Georgia Papadopoulou, Athina Stamatiadou e Rafailia Stefanidou.
Georgia compete como base, Athina como middle e Rafailia como top. As três chegam ao Mundial com diferentes níveis de experiência, mas com um objetivo compartilhado: representar a Grécia em Pesaro.
Georgia Papadopoulou possui quatro títulos do Campeonato Nacional Grego. Sua trajetória internacional inclui o Campeonato Europeu de 2025, em Luxemburgo, e a MAIA Acro Cup de 2026.
Para Athina Stamatiadou, o caminho foi particularmente rápido. Ela começou na Ginástica Acrobática há apenas quatro anos e disputou sua primeira competição internacional em Varna, em 2023. Depois veio o Campeonato Europeu de Luxemburgo e, agora, a oportunidade de competir em um Mundial.
Rafailia Stefanidou completa a formação como top e também vive um momento importante em sua trajetória esportiva: a preparação para representar a Grécia em uma das maiores competições internacionais da modalidade.
O grupo reúne experiências diferentes dentro de uma mesma construção. Georgia carrega os títulos nacionais e uma trajetória internacional já consolidada; Athina mostra o quanto é possível crescer em apenas quatro anos; e Rafailia completa uma formação que terá, em Pesaro, a oportunidade de avançar mais um passo juntas.
Um movimento construído em diferentes cidades
As cinco formações gregas revelam que a evolução de uma modalidade não acontece em um único ginásio.
Ela se constrói em Atenas, com uma jovem dupla que compete junta há três anos e meio. Em Veria, com três atletas que enfrentaram mudanças e voltaram a formar um grupo campeão nacional. E em Tessalônica, com formações Junior que reúnem desde medalhistas mundiais até atletas que estão escrevendo agora seus primeiros capítulos em um Campeonato Mundial.
A trajetória de Thanasis Tsolakidis e Dioni Katikaridou, vice-campeões mundiais em 2024, mostra onde esse caminho pode chegar. Ao mesmo tempo, as experiências de Vasilis, Iliana, Artemis, Eleni, Konstantina, Nikolaos, Alexandros, Georgia, Athina e Rafailia mostram que o futuro continua sendo construído.
As idades, categorias e experiências são diferentes. Mas, em setembro, todas essas histórias seguirão para o mesmo lugar.

AcroPesaro 2026 will be another step in the story of a partnership that has been growing for more than three years.
Youth Women’s Group — Veria
Iordanopoulou Artemis, Tsanaka Eleni & Konstantina Christoforidou
The Youth Women’s Group of Iordanopoulou Artemis, Tsanaka Eleni and Konstantina Christoforidou will travel to Pesaro from Veria.
Artemis competes as the base, Eleni as the middle and Konstantina as the top. The three gymnasts have already gained international experience at European Age Group competitions, but their path to this formation has not been straightforward. They went through different partnership changes before returning to compete together.
Their reunion as a group produced an important result. In 2026, Artemis, Eleni and Konstantina became Greek national champions.
Away from the gym, each of them has her own story. Artemis studies the flute, combining music with Acrobatic Gymnastics. Eleni also practises traditional Greek dance, maintaining a special connection with her country’s culture. Konstantina began competing when she was only seven years old and has grown within the sport to reach this new world challenge.
Different experiences and personal interests come together whenever the three step onto the competition floor. After the changes, the international competitions and the national title, the group will arrive in Pesaro united once again.
Junior Mixed Pair — Thessaloniki
Thanasis Tsolakidis & Dioni Katikaridou
Among the Greek stories heading to Pesaro, that of Thanasis Tsolakidis and Dioni Katikaridou already holds an important place on the international stage.
Thanasis competes as the base, while Dioni is the top. Together, they won the silver medal at the 2024 World Championships, a result that helped open new doors and bring greater visibility to Greek Acrobatic Gymnastics.
In 2025, they finished fifth at the Junior European Championships. More recently, they returned to an international podium by winning another silver medal at the MIAC Acro Cup.
Their results also reflect a long history of success at national level. Thanasis is an eight-time Greek champion, while Dioni has won seven national titles. She will arrive in Pesaro having already competed at three European Championships and one World Championships.
There is also a life beyond the medals. Thanasis’s brother is a member of the Greek Artistic Gymnastics national team, making sport an important part of his family. Away from training, Thanasis is interested in beekeeping and enjoys flying FPV drones.
Thanasis and Dioni will not arrive in Pesaro simply as two athletes looking for a result. They will arrive as a pair who already know what it means to stand on a World podium and who continue moving forward, competition after competition, while building new goals together.
Junior Men’s Pair — Thessaloniki
Nikolaos Mastoras & Alexandros Skopianos
The fifth Greek partnership competing at AcroPesaro 2026 will be the Junior Men’s Pair of Nikolaos Mastoras and Alexandros Skopianos.
The two athletes did not participate in the interview that introduced the stories of the other Greek partnerships, but they will be in Pesaro to represent their country in the Junior competition.
Their presence completes a delegation competing across different categories and demonstrates the breadth of the work being developed in Greek Acrobatic Gymnastics, with Youth and Junior partnerships coming from three cities.
In Pesaro, Nikolaos and Alexandros will also write their part of this story.
Junior Women’s Group — Thessaloniki
Georgia Papadopoulou, Athina Stamatiadou & Rafailia Stefanidou
Also travelling from Thessaloniki is the Junior Women’s Group of Georgia Papadopoulou, Athina Stamatiadou and Rafailia Stefanidou.
Georgia competes as the base, Athina as the middle and Rafailia as the top. The three athletes will arrive at the World Championships with different levels of experience but one shared goal: to represent Greece in Pesaro.
Georgia Papadopoulou has won four Greek national titles. Her international experience includes the 2025 European Championships in Luxembourg and the 2026 MAIA Acro Cup.
For Athina Stamatiadou, the journey has been particularly fast. She began Acrobatic Gymnastics only four years ago and competed internationally for the first time in Varna in 2023. The European Championships in Luxembourg followed, and now she has the opportunity to compete at a World Championships.
Rafailia Stefanidou completes the formation as the top and is also experiencing an important moment in her sporting journey as she prepares to represent Greece at one of the discipline’s leading international competitions.
The group brings together different levels of experience within one formation. Georgia contributes her national titles and growing international background, Athina shows how much can be achieved in just four years, and Rafailia completes a trio that will have the opportunity to take another step forward together in Pesaro.
A movement built across different cities
The five Greek partnerships show that the development of a discipline does not happen within a single gym.
It is built in Athens, with a young pair who have competed together for three and a half years. In Veria, with three athletes who faced different changes before reuniting and becoming national champions. And in Thessaloniki, with Junior partnerships that bring together World medallists and athletes ready to write new chapters in their stories at a World Championships.
The journey of Thanasis Tsolakidis and Dioni Katikaridou, silver medallists at the 2024 World Championships, shows how far Greek Acrobatic Gymnastics can go. At the same time, the experiences of Vasilis, Iliana, Artemis, Eleni, Konstantina, Nikolaos, Alexandros, Georgia, Athina and Rafailia represent a future that continues to be built.
Their ages, categories and experiences may be different. But in September, all these stories will move in the same direction.
